I'm Anna, a printmaker based in Chester, UK. My work is inspired by the cities I've lived in and travelled through, capturing iconic landmarks as well as quiet, everyday moments.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve created a body of work connecting simplicity, patience, and accuracy. My final prints are often minimal in colour, but behind them is a deeply detailed and hands-on process. Every step, from carving to pressing, is done by hand, and I like to embrace the small imperfections that come along with it. In a time where we have the option to create instantly and flawlessly, it feels refreshing to choose to enjoy the process and to find the beauty in the tiny differences between each print.
